Siva Kumar Ponaka is an experienced full-stack software engineering lead with a strong understanding of the entire software development ecosystem. He has a determined vision for spending energy and time on more ethical and sustainable value generators. Currently, he is serving as the Engineering Lead at Cargill Digital Labs for APAC and EMEA regions. He is responsible for design, architecture, and all engineering activities for multiple products. He also leads the team in building products through different phases like Prototype, MVP, Beta, Launch & Scaling. Siva is also responsible for team upskilling, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, and maintaining great stakeholder/customer relationships right from the design workshops. Before joining Cargill, Siva Kumar Ponaka worked as a Technical Lead at Societe Generale, where he was responsible for working with multiple development teams to bring in new frameworks, design patterns, UI technologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation, DB patterns, web security, monitoring, and more as part of the digital transformation initiative. He also worked at Cisco as a Senior Software Engineer, where he was responsible for building large-scale enterprise web applications. Siva Kumar Ponaka holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Sri Venkateswara University. He has over 14 years of relevant experience in technologies such as CI/CD, Java, Python, Microservices, Docker, SQL, Jenkins, AWS, Mobile, Javascript, ETL, Azure, GCP, and Frontend. He is a proactive and collaborative leader who is passionate about building sustainable and ethical software solutions.
